born 1986 manhattan, new york, united states marronage is a nigerian-akata poet, visual, & sound artist from the tri-state area. their work has been performed and shown at various places but most recently in two san francisco locations. they have received some scholarships, released multiple albums/videos. they are not professional. marronage holds an mfa from california college of the arts.
